- Enable Desktop Notifications and Sound Notifications in your dashboard settings.
How to answer a test chat
- On this page, open the chat widget and send a test message.
- In the tawk.to Dashboard/app, open the incoming conversation.
- Reply from the Dashboard/app and confirm the visitor sees it immediately.
Notification test
- Send a new message and confirm the agent gets an alert (sound and/or desktop notification).
- If you don’t get notifications, double-check browser/app permissions and the tawk.to notification settings.
